Have you ever wondered what it takes to make a character in D&D? Mix a little class, a sprinkle of skill, and a treasure chest full of je ne sais quoi, and you’ve got yourself the start of your very own character!
This week, we’ve put together a video deep dive into the all-important character sheet for the 5th edition of D&D which includes a detailed look into the
· basic character info
· ability scores – spreads, calculation, and modifiers
· proficiency bonus
· special abilities
· and so much more!
Did you know that there are different guidelines regarding the 2014 and 2024 rules? Or that your character’s race or background could effect their ability scores? Or that you can pre-purchase armor and weapons?
If not, that’s okay! Check out our video here (hyperlink https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WmmzlL3Q3U) for the step-by-step guide, and in no time at all you can have your first character up and ready for their adventure.
Let us know if you found this content helpful, and feel free to comment if you have any specific questions as you are building your character. We’d love to help!
